KYC Onboarding Case Preparer

A web app that prepares KYC onboarding cases for a bank. It assembles each customer’s details and documents, cross-checks them, flags mismatched, missing or expired items, rates risk by transparent rules, and drafts the summary and missing-items request. People make every approval decision.

Why We Built This

Onboarding officers spend most of each case reading documents, re-keying details and comparing them by hand across passports, utility bills, trade licences and ownership charts. They then write the case summary and the chase message for anything missing. Small mismatches, such as a name spelled differently or an address that doesn't match, are easy to miss. So are expired documents. These often surface only after the case reaches compliance, which sends it back for a second round of requests and adds days to onboarding. Risk ratings and summaries also vary from officer to officer, so compliance cannot review every file the same way. - Time spent reading, re-keying and cross-checking documents by hand on every case - Mismatched names, dates of birth and addresses that slip through to compliance - Expired or missing documents found late, causing second-round requests and delays - Inconsistent risk ratings and case summaries from one officer to the next - Chase messages for missing items written from scratch each time - No clear view of where onboarding time is actually lost

The Solution

The app takes over case preparation from end to end: assembling the details, running the checklist, comparing documents, rating risk and drafting the paperwork. Officers stay in control of everything that is a decision. Each customer type has its own checklist covering identity, address, source of funds, beneficial owners and tax status. Every flag comes with the reason it was raised. The risk rating is rule-based and transparent. It is built from four factors — high-risk country, complex ownership, cash-intensive business and politically exposed person (PEP) — so anyone can see why a case was rated the way it was. Complete cases go to a compliance queue ordered high-risk first. Approval, rejection and sanctions or watch-list screening deliberately stay with people. Every status change is recorded in an audit log.

How It Works

Gathers the customer's submitted details and document text into a single case

Picks the checklist for the customer type and checks identity, address, source of funds, beneficial owners and tax status

Compares names, dates and addresses across every document and flags mismatches with the reason

Flags documents that have expired or are missing from the checklist

Rates the case's risk from its rules: high-risk country, complex ownership, cash-intensive business and PEP status

Drafts a formal case summary for the compliance reviewer

Drafts a request to the customer listing exactly which items are missing or need replacing

Routes complete cases to the compliance queue, high-risk cases first, for human sign-off

Records every status change in the audit log

Never approves or rejects a customer and never runs sanctions or watch-list screening

ROI & Impact

- Cuts the officer time spent reading and re-keying documents and writing summaries and chase messages on every case - Fewer second-round requests, because missing, mismatched and expired items are caught before the case reaches compliance - A consistent risk rating and case summary on every file, applied by the same rules every time - A Value tracker that shows days-to-onboard, first-time-complete rate, escalations and cost per case, so the team can target its worst bottlenecks with real figures instead of estimates - Seeded demo cases arrive already assessed, so the queue and the metrics are populated from the first run

Getting Started

Press "Test the agent" above and sign in with the demo onboarding officer account

Open the case list: the seeded cases are already assessed, so you can see flags, risk ratings and summaries straight away

Open a case flagged for a mismatch and read the reason given next to each flag, for example a name or address that differs between two documents

Open the drafted missing-items request on an incomplete case and edit it as you would before sending it to a customer

Open a complete case and send it to the compliance queue, then check that the change appears in the audit log

Visit the Value tracker to see days-to-onboard, first-time-complete rate, escalations and cost per case

Order Agent

A web app for Keystone Supply, a building-supplies distributor, that turns incoming purchase orders into clean draft orders. Orders arrive as pasted email text, PDF text, spreadsheet rows or chat messages, in many different layouts. The agent extracts the customer, ship-to and line items, then maps each customer's part numbers to Keystone SKUs. It checks prices and stock and flags anything it is unsure about with a reason instead of guessing. A rep reviews every draft beside the original text and approves it. The agent never submits an order itself.
